Responsible for over 30 retail assets in Australia, this organisation manages some of the country's largest shopping centres. They have dedicated teams in their property group spanning traditional leasing, property management, development, casual leasing and marketing.  A Casual Mall Leasing Executive is currently required to take responsibility for new and existing relationships at our clients key ACT shopping centre.

You will be reporting to the National Casual Leasing Manager and working alongside an experienced team. This role is responsible for the leasing of common areas of the shopping centres on a casual basis for trading or promotional activities. In this role you will manage existing casual leasing clients, identify and approach new customers and take part in strategy to enhance casual leasing revenue opportunities. You will be required to understand the retail environment, and work closely with customers to assist them in ensuring their in-centre activities are successful.  Structured training of all aspects will be provided, as well as having the support of a highly experienced team around you.

Your day will consist of building relationships with new and existing retailers of the centre, as well as communicating with external businesses that may be interested in running promotions within the centre.  Your focus will be on educating clients on upcoming special events, and influencing them to lease casual space within the centres.

You will have an excellent business development background, strong sales skills (including the ability to generate leads from scratch) or account management experience.  You will also be self motivated with the ability to operate autonomously, as well as in a close team environment.  Experience in a similar role within the property sector is an advantage.
