This large and dynamic Federal Government Department has an urgent need for multiple APS 4 Service Desk and Desktop staff to assist with an increase in work and internal promotions. The roles will initially be offered as non-ongoing roles till June 30th 2012 with high possibility of extensions or permanency.
The role will involve working on a rotating roster between the hours of 7AM and 9PM to provide first and second level support to all departmental staff and users. The Branch is responsible for the provision and management of reliable, efficient and high quality CT services which you will assist within. As part of the Service Operations Section you will provide Helpdesk support, Desktop support and ICT Logistics.
To be considered for the role you must have experience on a help or service desk preferably within a Federal Government or large private Enterprise environment. Ideally the successful candidate will possess skills in Microsoft Office suit and applications, a Service Management tool and customer liaison both over the phone and in person.
