Radar Or Navigation Systems Design Specialist in It & Telecommunications Jobs

Based in Canberra, you’ll make a key contribution to a small team focussed on the design and development and through life support of suite of radar/ surveillance or Navigation related systems for local and possibly international application. 

Whilst experience in acceptance, test and installation would be well regarded, it is your depth of understanding RADAR and/or Navigation systems engineering that will identify you.  It is essential that you have direct sensor and RF propagation level design experience, including the preparation of technical specs and test/evaluation T&E plans.

Ideally you will have career exposure to other related systems engineering and have significant commercial experience, with a major vendor, defence contractor, civil air authority, Air traffic manager, military, land air or maritime based surveillance or navigation systems are all suitable.   

Highly motivated, you have the maturity and knowledge to lead a technical team. Further you have the communication skills to effectively interact with other experts and importantly non technical experts.
